Elite Dance Company 2023 Recital Information
“Tutu Sweet”
Saturday, June 17th
1:00 PM at Montville High School
Ticket Sales: Recital Ticket payment is due by May 31st. Tickets are $15. Last minute tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $20 cash on recital day. Children who can sit on a lap and dancers do not need tickets. At this time all tuition and any other overdue balances must be paid in full to receive your tickets and for your dancer to perform in the show.
Doors will open at 12:30, seating is general admission. Don’t worry, every seat in the auditorium has a great view! Ask your child’s dance teacher to show you which side of the stage your dancer will primarily be on as we get closer to the recital!
Dress Rehearsal: Dancers age 5+ will have a dress rehearsal on Thursday, June 15th at Elite Dance Company. Dancers should arrive in black leggings, pink recital t-shirt, and hair pulled back into a bun for dress rehearsal. (Schedule below)
Opening Production Rehearsal: All dancers in our 5+ classes will learn the opening production number in class.
Recital Day Saturday, June 17th.
Dancers in classes age 5+ will be dropped off at Montville Highschool for rehearsal at 11:15 AM. Parents are not able to stay for pre-performance rehearsal. Dancers can wear their EDC t-shirt, tights, and black leggings. All other classes (including Twinkle Toes, Dance With Me, and Age 3-5 combo classes) will arrive at 12:30 in costume/hair.
Don’t forget!: Black garment bag with costume and accessories inside, ALL dance shoes, light snack, and water (Please refrain from bringing any nuts due to dancer allergies).
Additional Hair/Makeup Information: All dancers must purchase skin color tights, we suggest Capezio dance store! Stockings from the supermarket are not tights! Please label EVERYTHING your dancer is bringing to the recital.
We expect all dancers to look neat & professional for the recital! This means no flyaways with their hair, and makeup that is neat and bright so that the stage lights do not wash away your dancers face. Any hair accessories need to be secured by bobby pins. No bras or undergarments should be seen onstage! If your dancer has a costume change or may be itchy, please consider purchasing a nude leotard for them to wear under their costume. Please, no tattoos/stickers, necklaces/bracelets, earrings, or bright colored nail polish!
Makeup: Dancers should have pink blush, pink lips, and light purple eyeshadow. Dancers have the option to add black mascara/eyeliner!
