REHEARSAL SCHEDULE FRIDAY 6/13

AT EDC STUDIO​​​

RECITAL DAY:

​

HAIR:

-Twinkle Toes & 3/4 Classes - hair in high curly ponytail, dancers right side.

​

-Mini, Petite, Intermediate classes- high center bun

​

MAKEUP:

-Pink eyeshadow, pink blush, rose lipstick, mascara/eyeliner optional

​

 Dancers should not have any nail polish, jewelry, tattoos, or stickers, and no visible undergarments/socks. 

Classes in Show #1 - 1130 AM Start Time Doors open at 11:00 AM, dancers should be dropped off to the dressing room by 11:00 AM with costume on, hair/makeup done, tights, and dance shoes.​

Classes in Show #2 - 2:00  PM Start Time Doors open at 130, dancers should be dropped off to the dressing room by 130 PM with costume on, hair/makeup done, tights, and dance shoes.

NEW PICKUP PROCEDURE- BLUE BRACELET

  • After the show concludes - ONE female family member may go backstage to pick up their dancer. This person must be wearing a blue bracelet signaling that they are allowed backstage.

  • For 3/4 classes- bracelets will be handed out in class this week

  • For all other classes the parent will receive this bracelet at rehearsal.

  • Saturday Classes will receive this bracelet upon dropping off their dancer from the class helper.

FAQ:

 

  • Do parents go backstage during the show?: No! Each class has a dedicated helper that will stay with them during the entirety of the show. They will help change your dancer into additional costumes if they're in more than one dance.

  • What does my dancer do in-between shows? If you have dancers in both shows, please be sure to pick them up inbetween showtimes and have a light lunch. There will be tables in the entryway where you can relax and get ready for show #2. EDC Staff is not responsible for dancers in-between show times. 

  • What does my child need backstage? Dancers should arrive with costume and nude tights on, garment bag, dance shoes, and a water. They can bring a light mess free, peanut free snack like pretzels or crackers. EDC will provide crayons/coloring books as a backstage activity.

  • Can I still buy tickets? Yes! The ticket portal is open until show day- be sure to purchase through the link on our website. 

  • What if I have a seating issue? Please go to the entry way table and let a staff member know - they will help to rectify any situation!

  • I have a wheelchair, where do I go? Please see staff at the front entryway and let them know you are with a wheelchair user, they will bring you an alternate route into the auditorium.
